This is a plant which sort small bricks in black or white. It has a light sensor, 4 servo motors, start switches. In this video the nxt's are switch operated, but later they will communicate with bluetooth.Programmed with Robolab 2.9.3 c. It is a fully functioning "plant". Built in HIAK 2008 by Morten Bergene, Øystein Nordrum, Kaare Jonny Torhaug, Jan Bekkelund, Terje Flattum and Kjetil Rosenvold. Hope this can give you some hints if you're building som NXT mindstorm.
